Kenyan athlete Bernard Muia Katui was a “Last Minute” addition to the Munich marathon and emerged victorious with a time of 2:09:17 hours.

Kenyan runner Catherine Cherotich claimed victory in the marathon with a time of 2:31:34 hours, setting a new personal best. Her previous win at the Skopje Marathon in North Macedonia had already earned her international recognition.

Adane Belete Wuletaw celebrated victory in the half marathon with a time of 64:37 minutes, improving his personal best by 20 seconds. The 26-year-old competes for LG TELIS FINANZ Regensburg and excels in distances ranging from 3000 meters to the half marathon.

Svenja Ojstersek impressed in the half marathon, completing it in 74:24 minutes. She represents LG TELIS FINANZ Regensburg and primarily competes in races over 5000 meters. The 29-year-old managed to beat her previous best time by approximately one and a half minutes at the GENERALI MÜNCHEN MARATHON.

Suldan Hassan triumphed in the 10k run with a time of 28:51 minutes. This talented Swedish athlete made his debut at the GENERALI MÜNCHEN MARATHON and has secured a solid position on the international stage since 2015. Suldan Hassan is particularly renowned for his performances in the 3000- and 5000-meter races.

Ethiopian runner Adissalem Sleshi Alemu made her first appearance in Munich and won the 10k run in a time of 33:42 minutes. She had already demonstrated her skills at the Alsterlauf in Hamburg in early September, finishing fifth in the 10k ru. Adissalem Sleshi Alemu specializes in distances from 3000 meters to the half marathon.
