REQUIREMENT FOR THE START AND BIB NUMBERS

The GENERALI MUNICH MARATHON 2021 will take place in line with the current Bavarian Infection Protection Measures Ordinance (BayIfSMV) and the official requirements of Munich City Council. The health of our helpers, participants and partners is very important to us, which is why we’ve put together a comprehensive protection and hygiene concept. We would ask all participants to make note of and adhere to these measures.

TO TAKE PART IN THE EVENT, YOU MUST SHOW PROOF OF ONE OF THE FOLLOWING (“3G”):

  • VACCINATION (GEIMPFT): Submission of complete vaccination certificate
  • RECOVERY (GENESEN): Submission of evidence of a positive PCR test between 28 days and 6 months ago
  • TESTING (GETESTET): Presentation of a negative antigen rapid test (conducted no more than 24 hours before the start of the race) or PCR test (conducted no more than 48 hours before the start)

Every participant who presents proof of immunity or testing will be given a WRISTBAND at the north and north-west stadium entrance. Accreditation can only be done in person upon presentation of an identity card or passport.

TIP! Anyone who has been vaccinated or recovered can pick up their wristband when collecting their race number on Friday and Saturday. Those who have been tested can get accreditation from Saturday 09/10/2021 (valid test result – no more than 24 hours before the start of the race).

RACE NUMBER

The runner’s personal race number and start time will be sent out by email on September 29, 2021.

Those who have booked for their race number to be sent out to them will then receive their package with the race number, runner bag and optional voucher (running top and medal engraving). The running tops are handed out along with the race numbers.

Alternatively, race documentation can also be picked up on Friday, October 08, 2021, 2 pm–7 pm, Saturday, October 09, 2021,  10 am–6 pm and Sunday, October 10, 2021, 6.30 am–9 am (marathon and half-marathon) and up until 1.30 pm (10 km run) from the Olympia Stadium.
