Mini-Marathon
The running experience at the GMM for children and young people
Olympic Park, Hans-Jochen-Vogel-Platz
Feel like running? Then take part in the Mini-Marathon on October 12, 2024. In cooperation with GENERALI’s The Human Safety Net initiative, the run is open to all children between the ages of 6 and 14. You start in front of the Olympic Hall, run through the Olympic Park with your friends and schoolmates and after 3 kilometers you are greeted by the thunderous applause of your parents. A personal souvenir awaits you at the finish, a medal for the mini marathon! And then you can meet your parents again straight away.
With The Human Safety Net, GENERALI promotes the early childhood development and physical activity of socially disadvantaged children. Sport in childhood promotes self-confidence and self-esteem. In addition, the children are shown in a playful way how much fun exercise is and how happy sport makes them.
